Zillow, Scheels Take Top
Corporate Games Honors
26 Companies Compete in 11 Sports
LINCOLN, Neb. (May 2, 2019) — The 2nd annual Nebraska Corporate Games concluded Wednesday with trivia challenge victories for Morrow Collision and Zoetis, but it was Zillow and Scheels of Lincoln who took home top overall company honors in their respective divisions.
Joining Zillow on the division I-overall podium were Sampson Construction and Lincoln Airport Authority. Scheels of Lincoln was followed by Zoetis and Crete Carrier for top overall honors in division II. Divisions were based on employee number—companies with 300 or fewer employees made up division I, those with 301 or more employees competed in division II.
The trivia challenge, which was held at the Graduate Hotel, 141 N 9th St, in Lincoln was the last of 11 sports over the past 10 days for 26 companies and more than 960 total participants. The Games kicked off with a fitness walk at Gateway Mall on April 22.
Division I sport winners: Fitness Walk-Farmers Mutual, Pickleball-Zillow, Cornhole-Lincoln Airport Authority, Golf-Sampson Construction, Bowling-Lincoln Airport Authority, Cycling-Zillow, Disc Golf Men-Sampson Construction, Disc Golf Women-Sampson Construction, 5K Road Race-Zillow, Basketball Men-Zillow, Basketball Women-Lincoln Airport Authority, Volleyball-Talent Plus and Trivia-Morrow Collision.
Division II sport winners: Fitness Walk-Zoetis, Pickleball-Scheels(Lincoln), Cornhole-Ameritas, Golf-Crete Carrier, Bowling-CHI Health St. Elizabeth, Cycling-Zoetis, Disc Golf Men-Assurity, Disc Golf Women-Scheels(Omaha), 5K Road Race-Scheels(Lincoln), Basketball Men-Black Hills Energy, Basketball Women-Scheels(Omaha), Volleyball-Duncan Aviation and Trivia-Zoetis.
